The Second Order Legendre Spectral Schemes for Long-Term Computation (I)

The initial-boundary value problem of reaction-diffusion equation is considered. The second order Legendre spectral schemes are proposed, which simulate the conservation and the long-term property in continuous model. The existence and uniqueness of the numerical solution are proved.
