Most common among them Include leucopenia, eosinopenia and low platelet counts Pancytopenia can also OCCur and multiple mechanisms are Involved in its causation. It is Important to rule out other important causes of pancytopenia before attributing it to enteric fever. A rare case of reversible pancytopenia in an adult male with salmonella paratyphoid. A infection is being reported along with a short discussion of the underlying mechanisms involved.
