Effect of Group and Net Dipole Moments on Electron Transport in Molecularly Doped Polymers
1996
The electron-transport properties of three molecularly doped polymers are compared. The dopants have a common electron-acceptor group and polar substituents such that the effects of group and net dipole moments are set in competition. The results indicate that group dipole moments have an important influence on the electron mobility, presumably via their contribution to energetic disorder.
