Tratamento da criança com asma aguda grave: visão do intensivista

O entendimento da fisiopatologia da asma aguda grave e importante na orientacao das medicacoes a serem utilizadas na crianca na sala de emergencia e na U.T.I., assim como melhor orienta quanto ao manejo dos pacientes pediatricos que serao submetidos a ventilacao mecânica. O autor discute a conduta terapeutica nos pacientes em insuficiencia respiratoria aguda por asma. (AU) The understanding of the physiphatology of the asthmatic status is very important to guide the physician in the right choice of the drugs to be used in emergency rooms and Intensive Care Unit for children. The author discuss the better therapeutic behavior for acute lung insufficient due to asthma in children. (AU)
