Selection of third-party logistics provider based on TOPSIS in the multi-granular linguistic of decision makers

In order to select a third-party logistics provider under the vague environment,the evaluation index is established for strategic alliance.In view of the difference of decision makers' linguistic,the uniformization function is used to transform the multi-granular linguistic of decision makers into a series of fuzzy sets on the basic linguistic term set.Then,the Center of Area Method is adopted to get a precise number of each alternative for every index.Finally,the TOPSIS is taken to rank alternatives.The application example shows that the method is feasible and effective and it makes the selection more objective.
