Envejecimiento biológico: Una revisión biológica, evolutiva y energética

2020
Biological aging is analysed from the different biological theories from the perspective of evolution. Through time and space, the living and inert things that make up societies and the biosphere space are transformed and change energetically, mainly living ones, we call these biological substantial changes, evolution. Among these changes is biological aging process, which is considered the optimal of evolutionary process, of most living organism, although it is related to decline and the loss of functional capacities and progressive incapacity of the organism functions that in man lead to diseases such as: cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer, multiple sclerosis, among others. These diseases are the main causes of morbidity and mortality, and involve serious public health and socioeconomic problems, due to the high percentage of older adults they affect. On the other hand, the conditions of current societies are not made to treat this type of disease. Patients must be cared for with comprehensive schemes of inclusive public and social policies, and the issue must be analyzed from the nutritional perspective of complex energetic systems based on animal models
