Performance analysis of a signal processing system for a digital control of an electrical drive

1995
The firing of a thyristor bridge feeding an electrical machine uses synchronization logical signals. The problem is to detect the instant of the input fundamental zero-crossing. The great precision required to perform the logical signals needs a good tracking performance. The lag in the authors' laboratory uses a band-pass digital filter the central frequency of which is enslaved to the input fundamental signal. In this paper, the authors deal with the analysis of the system's performances.
