Overview of fusion nuclear technology in Russia

The works on fusion nuclear technology in the RF have been carried out in the framework of the ITER and DEMO projects in order to support and validate these projects. The major results have been received within the ITER design and RD the application of selected technologies for large-scale mock-ups manufacturing; the results of industrial fabrication and testing of large-scale port-limiter mock-ups (one-step HIPing) and of full-scale mechanical attachment units for the blanket modules; the main results of structural materials and their joints investigation (including irradiation effect). Main results on the in-pile facility creation for the testing of breeding zone mock-ups (with in-situ tritium extraction). Brief results of the Li/V blanket R&D. The management structure on fusion nuclear technology in RF is briefly presented in this paper.
