Ornitofauna de Otuzco, La Libertad, Perú, en el año 2019

At present, carrying out conservation and analysis of biodiversity, about flora and fauna have a great importance. In the district of Otuzco, exists little information of a bird inventory and the species that exist in its limits. The objective of this research was to realize the inventory of the Ornitofauna present in the Otuzco district, La Libertad, Peru. In six populated centers were evaluated ten counting points, with a radius of 50 meters with a permanence of 10 minutes in each one. Species registration was realized by direct observation and taxonomic determination by comparison with specialized literature. 83 bird species distributed in 13 orders and 26 families were reported. The most representative orders were Passeriformes and Apodiformes; Families with the highest number of species were Thraupidae, Trochilidae and Tyrannidae. Seven endemic species were recorded; of which Ochthoeca piurae and Poospiza rubecula are classified as Vulnerable (VU) and Endangered (EN), respectively, according to the IUCN Red List and D.S. No. 004-2014-MINAGRI. Likewise, 23 species referenced in CITES are reported, appendix II. The diversity indexes were for Shannon-Weaver H ’= 3,850 bits / ind., Simpson S = 0.968, Equitability J = 0.871, Margalef Dmg = 11.050 and dominance D = 0.031. The greatest similarity occurs between Trigopampa and Otuzco (Ij = 0.458).
