Low power sequential circuits using improved clocked adiabatic logic in 180nm CMOS processes

2016
The paper recommends an adiabatic flip-flops and sequential circuits functioning on low voltages, which are realized with ICAL (Improved Clocked Adiabatic Logic) circuits. An ICAL mode-10 counter through a single phase power clock is realized. This circuit is realized on 0.18μm CMOS technology. With the simulated results, it has been observed that, the adiabatic flip-flops that operate on medium-voltage region can not only keep reasonable speed but also reduce greatly energy consumptions.
