The whole testing device is formed by three parts comprising a target simulation assembly, a tracking stability measuring assembly and a motion simulation assembly. The target simulation assembly is arranged above the tracking stability measuring assembly, the optical axis of a small-bore collimator in the target simulation assembly is parallel to the optical axis of a long-focus collimator in the tracking stability measuring assembly, and the distance between the small-bore collimator and the long-focus collimator in the height direction can be specifically adjusted in dependence on the demand of a photoelectric tracking imaging device to be tested. The photoelectric tracking imaging device to be tested is arranged above the motion simulation assembly, the photoelectric tracking imaging device to be tested is arranged in front of the target simulation assembly and the tracking stability measuring assembly, and the photoelectric tracking imaging device to be tested is arranged at the outlets of the small-bore collimator and the long-focus collimator. According to the invention, a key technical index, i.e., the tracking stability of the photoelectric tracking imaging device can be tested and evaluated in the laboratory, and the tracking stability testing device is relatively high in measuring precision.
