Analysis on Ortho-rectification Methods of SOPT5 Satellite Image Based on PCI

Ortho-rectification is the essential basic work to the process of remote sensing applications,for some undulating terrain,conventional geometric correction is so difficult to eliminate the geometric distortion in the image,so ortho-rectification is necessary for the image.Ortho-rectification has many methods,it took Baishi sub-frame of Huangfengqiao forest farm in Youxian county as the research area,high-resolution remote sensing image of SPOT5 as the ortho-rectification data by using satellite orbital modelling model and rational functions model,we can compare and analyze the image precision and operating speed according to different methods.The experimental results showed that,the precision of satellite orbital modelling model is higher than rational functions model,but the satellite orbital modelling calculation speed slightly slow down a bit,which provided the reference for the correction method of SPOT5 remote sensing image according to the requirements of processing.
