The feasibility research on distribution network loop closing operation based on hybrid grounding model of arc suppression coil and low resistance

During loop closing operation, if the loop current is too large, the connection switch of the loop point will be damaged, which will affect the normal operation of the distribution network. This paper takes the loop closing operation of 10 kV hybrid grounding system for arc suppression coil and small resistance in Hangzhou as an example, use ATP-EMTP software to build the model. In the simulation, the state at the time of the loop closing operation is accurately simulated, and the change of the loop current is observed to determine whether the loop closing operation can be performed. Analyze factors influencing the loop current and examine several ways to reduce the loop current. The conclusion has significant implications for practical loop closing operation of power systems.
