Low-Spatial Coherence Chaotic Cavity Laser for Speckle-Free Full-Field Imaging

We demonstrate electrically-pumped semiconductor-based chaotic microcavity lasers. The cavity shape is designed to maximize the number of lasing modes, providing emission with low spatial coherence and high-power per mode for high-speed, speckle-free full-field imaging applications.
