The invention provides a low-cost cyanide-free copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating solution. The low-cost cyanide-free copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating solution is characterized by comprising a copper salt, a zinc salt, a tin salt, a strong base, an EDTA complex and benzene sulfonate. The invention further discloses a technology for producing an copper-zinc-tin alloy by adopting the low-cost cyanide-free copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating solution. The copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating solution does not contain cyanide and other components which do serious harm to the environment and human bodies, thereby reducing the environmental pollution and belonging to an environment-friendly electroplating solution, and the cost of all the components in the copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating solution is low. According to the low-cost cyanide-free copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating solution and the copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating technology thereof, the copper-zinc-tin alloy electroplating system is stable, and the production technology is simple; the component content of a copper-zinc-tin alloy coating prepared by using the electroplating solution can be adjusted and controlled, and the content of copper, zinc and tin of the coating alloy can be adjusted according to the specific application of metal materials and the content of the copper salt, the zinc salt and the tin salt in the electroplating solution; and meanwhile, the binding force between the copper-zinc-tin alloy coating and a substrate is good, the surface of the coating is flat and free of dendrite growth, and a crystal is fine and bright.
