Characteristics of Seismic Networks in Spatial Scales

We investigate the seismic network by considering the cell resolution and the temporal causality of the earthquake from seismic data taken in southern California of USA. The topological properties of our seismic network are simulated and analyzed. We mainly estimate the global network metrics such as the mean degree, the probability distribution of degree, the clustering coefficient, the characteristic path length, and the global efficiencies. Particularly, Our results in random networks are compared to other findings which estimate the global network metrics.
