The invention relates to a method for preparing a cefdinir intermediate. 7-AVCA is reacted with cefdinir active ester in an organic solvent in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst to obtain acetyl cefdinir. By virtue of the method, the reaction speed is increased, the reaction time is shortened and meanwhile the reaction temperature is reduced, the reaction is completely carried out and the yield of the product is high.
