Synthesis of Sivelestat Sodium

Objective: To improve the preparation of Sivelestat sodium. Methods: Sivelestat sodium was synthesized from glycine through amidation, hydrogenation and acychloridization. Results: The structure of the target compound was confirmed by IR, 1HNMR and MS. Conclusion: The method is easy for synthesis and suitable for industrial manufacturing.
