Adaptive ACO R for solving the TEAM22 benchmark problem

The present paper studies the efficiency of a previously proposed aACO R (adaptive Ant Colony Optimization for Real domains) algorithm for solving the TEAM22 (Testing Electromagnetic Analysis Method) benchmark electromagnetic problem. Several variants of aACO R , with adaptive selection, adaptive construction and adaptive selection & construction combined, are applied on the TEAM22 benchmark and compared with the original ACO R . The obtained results are also analyzed in comparison with the best results previously obtained with a PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) based algorithm for the TEAM22 problem.
