This case for teaching aims to discuss the situation of the company Petrobras S.A. in the port of Rio Grande / RS, from the perspective of the stakeholders. The case provides real situations for people directly and indirectly involved in the city and how the company's decisions affect the development of the city. The case may contribute to a more accurate reflection on sustainable local development and the need to construct alternatives for Brazilian cities, in addition to the responsible social commitment of organizations.
