INFLUENCE OF DESIGN PARAMETERS ON CYCLO DRIVE EFFICIENCY

Cyclo drives are characterised by very high efficiency compared to conventional gear drives. In this paper has been analysed the influence of design parameters in order to find their impact on the efficiency of cyclo drive. The values of design parameters are changed in admissible domain. The design parameters that have a significant impact on the efficiency are: number of housing rollers, number of output mechanism rollers, pitch radius of housing rollers and pitch radius of output mechanism rollers.
