A dynamic minimization method

1984
Abstract A numerical method of defining the position of the minimum of a function of many variables is considered in which the process of searching for the minimum point is identical to the process of transferring particles into a field of immobile particles which are interacting with it, and which which have weights equal to the values of the minimizable function calculated in previous experiments for corresponding coordinates of the particles.
