Procaryotic Expression of Rotavirus VP4 Gene,Protein Purification and Animal Immunization

Rotavirus SA11 outercapsid protein VP4 was expressed in E.coli, and purified by anion exchange chromatography. The neutralizing antibody titer was calculated after immunization with purified VP4 and adjuvant in Guinea Pigs. VP4 existed as inclusion bodies.After purification, the purity of protein was 80%. The rotavirus specific neutralizing antibody titer was 1∶500.
