Abstract Certain extraneural manifestations of subacute sclerosing leucoencephalitis are emphasized in a brief survey. Their occurrence demonstrates the complexity of the pathogenetic mechanisms participating in the development of the disease in question. In this connection, an important role is attributed to neuro-immuno-pathological processes.
