220 kV active electronic current transformer

This paper introduces the principle and testing of a 220 kV active electronic current transformer (ECT) for metering and protection in power system. The field trial results of more than two years demonstrate that the ECT meets IEC6044-8 0.5 class with safety and reliability. (5 pages)
