y anomaly in vector models with a parity-violating neutral current
1978
The SU(2) x U(1) vectorlike model of weak interactions with arbitrary number of charge 2/3 and -1/3 quarks is considered. It is pointed out that if the suppression of the strangeness-changing neutral current and the Cabibbo universality are achieved in the natural way (i.e., as a consequence of the group and representation structure of the model), it is hard to describe simultaneously both the parity violation by the neutral current and the y anomaly in the nu-bar-induced charged-current inclusive scattering.
