The invention discloses a connection structure for a diesel engine and a main power generator. The connection structure comprises a main power generator shell, a main power generator rotor, a shaft flange, a diesel engine shell, a diesel engine flywheel, an elastic coupling joint, a flange, a shaft flange split shaft part and a flange part, wherein the flange part is connected to the right end face of the main power generator rotor; the right end of a shaft part is connected into the flange in a sleeving manner; the right end of the elastic coupling joint is connected with the diesel engine flywheel; the connection structure further comprises a bearing sleeve and a circular coupling box; the bearing sleeve sleeves the shaft part and is close to the flange part; the coupling box penetrates through the shaft part from right to left, and the edge of a circular hole is fastened on the right end face of the bearing sleeve; a bulge is arranged between the outer edge of the coupling box and the circular hole; the bulge rightwards extends to tightly lean against the diesel engine shell and be fixed; the outer edge of the coupling box tightly leans against the right end face of the main power generator shell and is fixed. A pivot is added on the coupling box, so that the coupling box is connected with the diesel engine shell, and extremely large positive influence on other structures can be caused; the vibration influence is obviously reduced, and the structure is more reliable.
