The invention proposes a program grouping screening and push method for an intelligent television, and the method comprises the following steps: S1) enabling users to be divided into a plurality of groups according to a preset rule; S2) obtaining program broadcasting historical data of user members of the same group, and classifying the program broadcasting historical data; S3) selecting a certain number of programs according to the program broadcasting historical data, and pushing the programs to the user members of the same group. Because the method employs a mode of dividing the users into groups according to the genders, ages and hobbies of the users, the similar users are divided into the same group. According to the program broadcasting historical data of members of the similar group, the method selects and pushes a program with high broadcasting probability to the members in the same group in a more targeted manner, and greatly improves the probability that the pushed program accords with the interest of the users.
