Prepreg and carbon fiber reinforced composites

2013
Provided are a prepreg and a carbon fiber reinforced composite material that have excellent adhesion between carbon fibers and a matrix resin and long-term storage stability, and have both excellent impact resistance and conductivity in the thickness direction. The present invention relates to thermoplastic resin particles (F) having a mass ratio of 1: 1 to 1000 on sizing agent-coated carbon fibers coated with a sizing agent containing an aliphatic epoxy compound (A) and an aromatic epoxy compound (B1). And a prepreg formed by impregnating a thermosetting resin composition containing conductive particles (G) and conductive particles (H) in which a thermoplastic resin is coated with a conductive substance. The surface of the carbon fiber is divided into (a) the height of the component of the binding energy belonging to CHx, CC, C = C in the C1s core spectrum measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and (b) C—O. The ratio (a) / (b) to the height of the component of the binding energy attributed to is in a predetermined range.
