Protection Needs and Institutional Analysis on Local Child Catastrophic Health Care System——Case Study of Foshan Municipality

The basic health care system is not enough to reduce catastrophic health expenditure on families raising sick children.Local Child Catastrophic Health Care System is various in China and needs improvement based on requirement analysis to extend its coverage and optimize its service.Data from local hospitals are collected to figure out common critical illnesses and expenditure of children in Foshan,and are compared to current health care system to establish complimentary policies.
