Povo Tupari no Estado de Rondônia: reflexões teórica e metodológica a partir de uma pesquisa de campo
2021
The work on screen seeks to present theoretical and methodological reflections that permeate the context of a field research with ethnographic inspiration among the Tupari Indigenous people in the state of Rondonia. The experiences among the Tupari people made it possible to reinterpret research practices produced in indigenous contexts at the same time it allowed the deconstruction of conceptions arising from Westernized colonial thought, since the research took place with a social group that experiences cultural practices and its own traditions, but that, at the same time, resignifies these practices in the midst of contact with the non-indigenous. These perceptions indicate that researching, in addition to being a political act, ends up becoming an ethical act, respecting differences, and, therefore, needs to be aligned with theories that reveal colonial cover-ups.
