The invention discloses an electric power assembly used for a pure electric vehicle. The assembly comprises two drive motors, a gearbox, a middle shaft, an output shaft, two input shafts and at least two clutch transmission units, wherein the middle shaft, the output shaft, the two input shafts and the at least two clutch transmission units are arranged in the gearbox. The two drive motors are distributed on the same side of the gearbox, the output shaft is distributed on the other side of the gearbox, the two drive motors are connected with the two input shafts respectively through transmission parts, the two input shafts are coaxially and rotationally coupled through a bearing, engaging and disengaging between the two input shafts are achieved through an input shaft synchronizer, each clutch transmission unit comprises a driving gear, a driven gear and a shaft and wheel synchronizer, the two input shafts are connected to the middle shaft through the clutch transmission units respectively, and the middle shaft is meshed with the output shaft through the gears in a transmission mode. Vehicle axial distribution space can be increased, radial distribution space is reduced, longitudinal arrangement of the power assembly is achieved, and the power assembly is better applicable to passenger cars or trucks and other electric vehicles requiring compact radial space and large axial space of the power assembly and provided with differential mechanism on drive axles.
