Dynamics of a two-circuit installation with a self-regulating reactor and natural circulation of the heat carrier

1969
The problem of determining the dynamic characteristics of a two-circuit steam-producing installation is presented together with some typical results. The installation has the following characteristics: a reactor of the water-cooled water-moderated type operates in the self-regulating mode; the circulation of the heat carrier in the first and second circuits is natural; saturated steamofvariableparameters is fed to the turbine; the steam generator is built into the reactor vessel. An installation of this type is intended for a 1.5-MW atomic power station with a heating output of 3.5 Gcal/h.
