Impact of NET MDT on overall survival within NETwerk, a collaborative ENETS Center of Excellence.

e18861Background: Since January 2016, patients with neuroendocrine tumors of 9 hospitals in the Antwerp-Waasland region in Belgium, are jointly discussed during NET specific multidisciplinary tumor boards (NET MDT), additionally to a local MDT. This network (NETwerk), obtained the certificate of ENETS Centre of Excellence in 2017. The aim is to report NET MDT impact on treatment decision and 5-year overall survival outcome of NET cases, treated within NETwerk and diagnosed between January 2011 and February 2018. Methods: All patients, discussed on the NET MDT, were prospectively included in the NETwerk database. Patient recruitment occurs by treating physician or by pathologist referral. Treatment decision data, date of diagnosis, age at diagnosis, sex, tumor grade (WHO 2010) and date of death were collected.
