This study was investigated of additional bubble breaking by screw shape in venturi-type air self-inhalation microbubble generator. In order to determine the influence of the varing flow characteristics (pressure and air flow rate) by screw shape, prior experiment was performed and evaluated. Furthermore, in order to identify the secondary flow caused by screw shape, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation was performed using the commercial CFD software ANSYS CFX-14.0. The analysis results showed that average rotational velocity in nozzle is inversely proportional to the size and number of microbubbles, acquiring from microbubble generation experiment.
