Sleep apnea therapeutic device based on external diaphragm pacing

2012
The utility model discloses a sleep apnea therapeutic device based on external diaphragm pacing. The sleep apnea therapeutic device comprises a sensor, a diaphragm pacer and an electrode, wherein the sensor is connected with the diaphragm pacer, and the diaphragm pacer is connected with the electrode. In the application, when sleep apnea is detected by an air flow sensor, a voice sensor, a abdominal exercise sensor or/and a oxygen saturation sensor, a control signal is output to the diaphragm pacer, a pulse signal is sent by a pulse signal generator according to a preset program, an electric pulse is transmitted through the electrode near the phrenic nerve of body surface, the phrenic nerve is stimulated by the pulse and then sends the pulse to the diaphragm, thereby making the diaphragm contract, and recovering normal respiration. The sleep apnea therapeutic device has good effect on central sleep apnea and obstructive sleep apnea, especially on the central sleep apnea.
