2020
Sustainability, based on economic, environmental and social principles, has become a requirement to be implemented in understanding the strategies of organizations that seek competitiveness and legitimacy. In this process, innovation can be considered an enabling instrument that adds contributions mainly in the transformation and improvement of products and processes. In this way, it is possible to design sustainability, strategy and innovation as interrelated and complementary constructs that can be worked in aggregate form. In order to deepen the understanding of the methodological or conceptual articulation between the three elements in the organizational context, a systematic review was carried out in the databases of the Portal of Periodicals of Capes and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo). The results indicated 16 articles that met the objectives of study, which integrate the approaches of different ways, however, some spare points are identified as a focus on dynamic capabilities, consideration of a complex and changeable environment, need for strategic adaptation according to particular context, leadership, emphasis on radical innovations, cooperation with stakeholders and concentration of studies in countries with high human and technological development.
