Technology Adoption of Smart Tourism in Indonesia: Systematic Literature Review

The tourism sector is one of the largest foreign exchange earners for Indonesia. Indonesia's tourism competitiveness index is still relatively low. One factor that makes the low competitiveness index is the use of technology that is still low in supporting the growth of tourism in Indonesia. This research aims to provide insight of technology adoption in Indonesian Tourism filed with systematic literature review. This study also analyzes the use of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) from both the demand side, supply side and support side. So that the results can be seen the readiness of implementing ICT in this field. The finding from analysis are the use of mobile technology for information dissemination, recommendation systems and education in this field. The results of this study provide feedback for decision makers to increase competitiveness in the field of tourism by utilizing ICT.
