Method for detecting signal by oscilloscope

The invention discloses a method for detecting signals by an oscilloscope, comprising the following steps: setting the coupling way of a channel; setting a voltage tap position and a time-base tap position; setting a first waveform display area and a second waveform display area; judging whether the maximum or the minimum of the waveform exceeds the set first waveform display area; and if the waveform of the measured signal exceeds the first waveform display area, adjusting the voltage tap position to lead the maximum or the minimum of the signal in the set second waveform display area and determining the type of the signal according to the maximum or the minimum. By the above method for detecting signals by the oscilloscope, whether an obvious signal exits can be automatically detected bythe oscilloscope, the type of the signal can be determined according to the maximum and the minimum by the oscilloscope, thereby improving the efficiency of detecting signal.
