LEITURA: ACEPÇÕES, SENTIDOS E VALOR

In this essay, I try to check the current meanings of the term reading, identifying its specific characteristics and particularities, in order to establish a political-pedagogical framework for teaching and promoting reading. I support, based on the analysis, despite the use of polysemic phrases such as reading allow expressions as “reading of the world”, “wordless reading”, “the reading position”, among others. There is a clear specificity when it comes to read the text and that this distinction is particularly important for the educational activity. Finally, I present some considerations on the sense of promoting reading - taken as a humanizing value - highlighting the role and ethical training which is implicit. http://dx.doi.org/10.14572/nuances.v21i22.1619
