PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent raw material capable of synthesizing carbon dioxide as one of a raw material, where a problem of reduction of gas barrier property especially under high humidity while using a polyhydroxy urethane resin exhibiting gas barrier property by a hydroxyl group.SOLUTION: There are provided a gas barrier coating agent containing an unsaturated group-containing polyhydroxyl urethane resin where a part of hydroxyl group of a polyhydroxy urethane resin is chemically modified and an unsaturated group is introduced into a molecule and for forming a crosslinked resin coated film by curing with ultraviolet or electron beam, and a gas barrier film consisting of the crosslinked resin coated film exhibiting high gas barrier property even under high humidity while maintaining the gas barrier property of unmodified polyhydroxyurethane by polymerizing all or a part of the unsaturated group by irradiation with the ultraviolet or the electron beam.SELECTED DRAWING: None
