The present invention discloses a process for preparing a porous transition metal oxide microspheres of a size, synthetic techniques belonging to the field of nanomaterials. Technical Solution gist of the present invention is: at room temperature, the polyhydric alcohol to form a homogeneous solution in an organic solvent; under stirring a homogeneous transition metal salt is added to the solution to obtain a homogeneous mixed precursor solution; the precursor solution transferred to a spray dried powder collected by the cyclone and the bottom of the drying tower; the powder was placed in a muffle furnace heated at a rate of temperature increase 1-8 ℃ / min to 350-650 deg.] C calcined 0.5-5 h, then cooled to room temperature to give a transition metal oxide porous microspheres. The present invention enables the preparation of porous microspheres transition metal oxide scale, spray drying nanomaterials can achieve the continuous process, the transition metal oxide prepared porous microspheres No more grinding or milling can be used directly .
