Multimedia-assisted language learning in translation teaching

The changes in translation teaching is remodeling its teaching mode, and thus a pedagogical revolution is triggered by multimedia-assisted language learning(CALL) from the traditional classroom to the modernized one. Many studies show that CALL has proven to be very useful and effective in language teaching. This paper probles the problems that translation teaching is now faced with and suggests several possible ways of utilizing CALL to solve these problems in translation teaching, for the sake of enhancing teaching effect and promoting the students' translation competence.
