Method for reducing decomposition products in a reactor system to olefin methanol.

2003
A method for forming light olefins from a feedstock containing oxygenate, comprising: directing the feedstock through a feed introduction nozzle bound to a reactor feed, wherein the nozzle feed introduction has a inner surface formed by a understood metal alloy of at least 20 weight percent chromium, or at least 30 weight percent nickel, or at least 2 weight percent aluminum, or less than 50 weight percent of iron, or at least two weight percent copper, or an inner surface formed of an insulating material selected from the group consisting of fire brick, calcium silicate high temperature, ceramic alumina and silica-alumina brick and cements diatomaceous silica, and fillers; and contacting, in the reactor, the feedstock with a catalyst at a temperature of 350 to 600 ° C to form an effluent comprising light olefins.
