Application of OpenSSL in IEC 61850 communication security

IEC 61850 is the only standard for substation network communication based on network communication platform in the world.It is also the basis of related power industry standards in China.This standard has some defects,such as it can not guarantee the confidentiality,integrality,validity and non-repudiation of information while transmitting information.This paper introduces the ways how to use open-source software OpenSSL to ensure IEC 61850 communication security.
