Reference Architectures for Security-by-Design IoT: Comparative Study

IoT projects require significant attention at the design stage, as they are particularly vulnerable systems. Security by design must be considered both at the architectural level and in the system deployment. This article validates the application of multi-criteria decision model to compare architecture. We will analyse the capabilities of ten reference architectures for IoT using the Analytic Hierarchical Process (AHP). They are compared using the requirements described by the ITU as criteria. Our comparative study aims to determine the architecture that best meets the availability security requirements.
