The relation between cytological abnormalities and interphase chromosome volume in plants growing in a high radiation area

Radiosensitivity of plants, measured in terms of meiotic abnormalities in pollen mother cells, growing in the monazite bearing high radiation areas of Kerala coast and adjoining regions in South India was found to show significant positive correlation with interphase chromosome volume (ICV).
