Nucleon Compton scattering in the nonrelativistic quark model

An introduction is given to the theory and experimental data for nucleon Compton scattering. We briefly outline our model in order to explain the theoretical interest in resonance region Compton scattering. After describing the focus of our calculations and the results, we make conclusions about which experiments among those possible at CEBAF are most sensitive to the interesting physics.
