Chelating concentration of cobalt, nickel, zinc and manganese cations in capillary zone eletrophoresis

2005
A method for on-line concentration of metal cation Co2+ , Zn2+, Mn2+ in capillary zone electrophoresis with chelating agent (4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol) is presented. In the range of capacity of column, the peak height is heightened along the increasing of injection time. Parameters including capacity of column, sample concentration, kinds of chelator, injection modes were examined. In the separation of Co2+, Ni2+, the injection volume and the detection sensitivity can be increased 100 times and 40 times, respectively with borate buffer (pH 8.40, 6.25 mmoUL) as mobile phase.
