Характеристика нових похідних 4-тіазолідинонів: спектри люмінесценції та оцінка потенційної протипухлинної активності

The aim of our study was to measure the transmission spectrum, spectrum of luminescence, and luminescence excitation of three new anticancer 4-thiazolidinone derivatives (ID 3288, ID 3882, ID 3833) in order to identify characteristics of photoinduced cytotoxicity of these compounds towards murineleukemia L1210cell line. The spectrum of luminescence excitation and luminescence spectrum of powder samples ID 3288, ID 3882 and ID 3833 differed significantly from such spectra measured when the studied compounds were applied as aqueous solutions. The luminescence of the compound ID 3288 used in powder form has a lower intensity comparing with such luminescence of the compounds ID 3882 and ID 3833. The luminescence of compound ID 3882 used in solution has the lowest intensity, and the luminescence of the compound ID 3833 measured in solution demonstrated the highest intensity. The perspectives of application of the obtained results on the patterns of the luminescence excitation of the compounds ID 3833, ID 3882 and ID 3288 in the photodynamic anticancer chemotherapy are discussed in this article.
